What to see in Palma de Majorca? Immersed in the Mediterranean Sea, the island offers a broad tourist offer, including leisure and gastronomy, a complete experience for people of all tastes! Let’s start our tour. Who’s coming?

Valldemossa, an enchanting stop

This is one of the best-known towns in Palma de Majorca, located in the Tramontana hill range. Its cobbled streets and the architectural heritage of its houses, the majority of the façades of which date back to the mediaeval period, mean that as a whole, surrounded by magnificent mountains, Valldemossa is an idyllic location, as if taken from a picture-postcard.

If you go to visit, you can’t leave without walking around the Royal Carthusian Monastery and its gardens, a former monastery dating from the 14^th century and famous for having been the residence of the writer George Sand (‘A winter in Majorca’) and the musician Chopin. Don’t forget to try the typical horchata, a drink made from ground almonds, before continuing your route around the island.

Just 15 minutes from Mediterrània I you can find one of the most exclusive areas to enjoy an afternoon’s shopping: Passeig del Born, Jaume III, Jaume II, and Sant Miquel are the main shopping streets on the island where you can find some of the most important international fashion brands: Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Custo, or Angel Schlesser are just some of them.

For wine-lovers

One of the positive things about living in Majorca is how close you are to unique places. The town of Banyalbufar is built on vineyard terraces in the form of steps leading down to the sea. Here they produce malvasia, a sweet white wine that you can try in the Son Vives Wine Cellar. And we have another unparalleled experience to propose when visiting Banyalbufar: its spectacular sunsets from the Ses Ànimes Tower.

Classical music at Les Coves del Drach

A marvel of nature and, without doubt, one of the essential places to visit in Majorca. Located in Manacor you will find four caves measuring around 2.4 kilometres, at a depth of around 25 metres. Inside you will find the so-called Martel lake, considered to be one of the largest in the world at 115 metres in length, where you can have an unforgettable experience: attending one of the classical music concerts given there, where pieces by Caballero or Chopin are regularly played.

Mirador Es Colomer and Cabo de Formentor

A must-see in Majorca in order to enjoy the Mediterranean in its purest state.

Also known as the ‘meeting-place of the winds’, it is a stretch of steep coastline, with cliffs than can reach a height of 300 metres, where you can enjoy unique views of the sea and of part of the island.

Bóquer Valley

We invite you to enjoy a day’s hill-walking around the Bóquer Valley, in Puerto de Pollensa, where the impressive cliffs and the views will leave no one indifferent. Of note are the remains of the talayotic village of Bocchoris and of a Roman settlement which can be found in the Bóquer Valley. Unmissable!
