How do I get around?

Whether travelling around the city or beyond, you have numerous options:

• Majorca Airport is just 10 minutes away by car from the new Gestilar development, easily accessible via the M19 Levante Motorway. There is also a bus service, with route 1 linking the two places directly in less than half an hour.

• As for getting around the island by public transport, there are many bus routes that pass nearby given how close it is to the centre, and in particular route 6, which goes as far as the well-known Son Espases Hospital, and route 12, which goes as far as the Sa Garriga area in the centre of Palma.

• Meanwhile, the two metro lines stop about a 10 minutes’ walk away: fast and convenient!

The future of the area

In a statement made recently by the director of Urban Planning at the Palma Town Council, there was reference to the great potential of the area, which will be based on the concept known as ‘urban development of proximity’, given that it is a residential, business, and services area all in one, making it a dynamic and benchmark area of the island.
